What we collect

• The answers you give when creating a website, including your business name and contact details.
• Your name, email address and daytime phone number, to send your preview, manage your account and reach you.
• Payment information, handled by our payment provider. We never store card numbers.
• If you buy a domain: the owner details the domain registry requires.
• Technical logs needed to run the service securely.
• If you came through a partner's link: which link it was (a random id), so the partner can be credited. Partners never see your contact details.
• If you are a partner: your application, tax and payout details, commission and payments, to run the program and meet accounting rules.
• If you allow it: how you use our site (Google Analytics) and whether you came from one of our ads (Google Ads, Meta pixel). See our Cookie Policy.

Why

To create, host and support your website (contract), to prevent abuse and keep the service secure, including limiting free previews per person (legitimate interest), to contact you by email or phone about your preview and help you get your website live (legitimate interest; you can say no at any time), to send occasional tips only if you asked for them (consent), to measure how our site and ads perform if you allow analytics or marketing cookies (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), and to meet accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Service providers

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:

• ilait (Sweden): server hosting and email delivery.
• Anthropic (USA): AI that writes and checks website texts from your answers.
• DataForSEO: search data (keywords and search results for your services and areas).
• Stripe (Ireland, USA): payments, invoices and VAT calculation.
• Name.com (USA): domain registration, with the owner details passed on to the domain registry.
• OpenStreetMap Foundation (UK): finding map coordinates for your business address.
• Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta (pixel): only if you accept those cookies.

Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA. When they do, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your data, and object to processing. Contact us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Retention

If you don't confirm your email within three days, the preview and your details are deleted. Unpublished previews are deleted after 90 days. If you don't become a customer, your name, email and phone are kept for at most 12 months after your last preview, then deleted. Account data is kept while you are a customer. Invoices and accounting records are kept for seven years, as Swedish accounting law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we tell you by email or on our website before the change takes effect.
